Our Services
RAW Tree Services offers professional tree surgery across Basingstoke, Newbury, Reading, Thatcham and surrounding areas. From routine hedge cutting to complex crown reductions, every job is carried out by trained, insured tree surgeons with over a decade of experience.
Felling/Logging
Safe removal of single trees or whole clearance jobs, including sectional dismantling in tight garden spaces. Logs cut to firewood size and stacked, or fully removed from site.
Bush/Hedge Cutting
Regular trimming keeps boundaries neat and encourages healthy growth. Hedges of all sizes handled in a single visit, with all cuttings taken away.
Climbing
When a tree can’t be felled from the ground — because of buildings, fences, or cables — our climbers safely dismantle it in controlled sections from above.
Stump Grinding
Stumps ground down to 6-12 inches below ground level, leaving the area ready for turfing, planting, or paving. Suitable for stumps of any size.
Chipping
Brash and small branches fed through our chipper on site, dramatically reducing waste. Chippings taken away or left as free garden mulch.
Crown Reduction
Reduces a healthy tree’s size, thins dense growth for more light, or reshapes for safety and aesthetics. All work carried out in line with BS3998.
